Spotlight On Home Automation Inc. (HAI)

Home Automation Inc.
New Orleans, LA

Since 1985 Home Automation Inc. (HAI) has been the leading manufacturer of home control products for homeowners and businesses around the world for the last 25 years.

HAI products will keep you safe, manage your energy consumption and comfort, and provide home entertainment, all in a coordinated and easy to use manner. HAI products are Automation Simplified®.

HAI is perhaps best known for its Omni Family of Security Systems, and to a lesser extent, its Lumina lighting products. The Omni series including the OmniLT, Omni IIe, and OmniPro II, are full-featured security solutions for residential condos up thru small businesses. However, the Omni & Lumina Families also include control of OmniStat2 thermostats and temperature sensors.

Entertainment controls must also be present for a true whole-house automation solution. For users of Windows Media Center, HAI offers Home Control for Windows Media Center to add the ability to control your home's lighting and climate from the media center's remote. HAI also offers Pronto Link, a ProntoScript integration module for the Philips TSU9800, TSU9600, or TSU9400 Pronto remotes. Screens are preprogrammed in Pronto Link so an installer can add the HAI functionality into a standard Pronto project. If desired, you can design your own buttons and screens to control HAI functions when you incorporate Pronto Link into a project. And finally, HAI offers the Hi-Fi multi-room audio system allowing you to listen to music throughout your home in up to eight rooms.
