HAL allows you to use a web browser to log on to your home and control lights, appliances, audio, video, security or thermostat settings.
HAL software utilizes a powerful speaker-independent speech recognition system that allows the user to simply type in the device names (lights, A/V equipment, thermostats, security systems, etc.) to enable user control by voice, telephone, cell phone, microphone, Instant Message, PDA device, or the Internet.
HAL can control any X10 device via the HAL Power Line Adapter.
