Control4 has continued its home controller upgrade program launched in 2014 for 2015. If you are considering adding functionality to your Control4 system please read the details below.

If you are an existing Control4 customer with a legacy primary home controller, which is defined as a Home Theater Controller, a Media Controller, a HC-200 or a HC-300, you are still eligible to take advantage of the Control4 Primary Controller Upgrade Program.

If you upgrade now to the HC-800 home controller, which sells for $1,500, your cost will be $1,000, a savings of $500! If you have a single legacy controller as your primary home controller and you upgrade to the HC-250 home controller, which sells for $750, your cost will be $550, a savings of $200.

The popular HC-250 delivers instantaneous control at an exceptional value. Its sleek design and small form-factor make it ideal for single-room control systems, universal remote replacements or as a way to deliver on-screen control to every television in larger residential or light commercial installations. The HC-250 features a powerful 1GHz processor, internet audio content via embedded TuneIn and Rhapsody, video/audio intercom capability, and the Control4 app so you can use your smartphones, tablets or PCs to control your system. If you have a complete smart home with multiple controllers or wish to expand your automation system to multi-room control, the HC-800 is the primary controller designed for those applications. The award-winning HC-800 has the exceptional horsepower, control capabilities and design to run even the most demanding control system. Developed as the foundation of every Control4® project, the HC-800 has the processing power to connect and control everything in a typical home or light commercial automation system. The HC-800 features a dual core 1.8GHz processor, internet audio content via embedded TuneIn and Rhapsody, video/audio intercom capability, and the Control4 app so you can use your smartphones, tablets or PCs to control your system.

Control4 has not announced an end date for this upgrade program. And Control4 has developed software in OS release 2.6 which requires the horsepower of a HC-250 or HC-800 for the best performance. So, if you're considering adding to your existing Control4 automation system or just want to take advantage of new features, now is the time to get a quote on a Control4 money-saving upgrade!!!
