Home Automation Product Features

Our company has a half dozen 7" Portable, WiFi Touch Screens implemented in our clients homes. The user feedback is 100% positive. They love the features just as much as I do. From the hard navigation buttons such as channel and volume up and down, mute, and the ability to navigate around menus to the way it feels in your hands were much needed features to surpass Control4’s touch screen predecessors.

The 16x9 graphics are also amazing. Not to mention the fact that it has an audio out and can easily be turned into an audio zone. I am patiently awaiting the day that I can add one to my system at home. This product by far is the best addition to the Control4 family.

Ease of Installation

After your Control4 components are updated to Composer version 1.7.3, taking it out of the box is the biggest hill you have to climb to achieve installation. Your Dealer will simply punch in the network SSID and network key, connect it to the Control4 Director, add and identify it in Composer, and you are done.

Now you have the ability to control your whole system at your fingertips with the benefits of a touch screen anywhere in your home that has a WiFi signal.

Home Automation Product Reliability

My phone has not rang once regarding the reliability of the 7” Portable WiFi Touch Screen. It’s an amazing product and I will not hesitate recommending it to any of our clients or my family and friends. I do periodic follow ups with our clients and they all are extremely happy with their Control4 products, especially the 7” Portable.
